I learned to sew at an early age and
opened my Etsy shop, Sutton Place Designs, in August of 2011. I offer handmade textile
furnishings for your home from mostly vintage fabrics.

Yesiree, I am ready for Fall color! This Summer has been one of the worst, in STL, in over 20 years with historic high temps and humidity.
I was at Joann Fabric and Michael's today, in all their Fall glory, and that is making it even more difficult to resist rushing the season:-)

Oh I am more than ready for fall. It was 116 yesterday and I am tired of all the heat. We won't have any cool temps until the end of Sept., and then it will still be in the 80's, but that's cool to us. Love all the pics and the colors. Hugs, Marty

I'm right there with you. I was outside sweeping today and longing for the crisp fall air.
We are enjoying the best summer we have ever had. I'm just not ready yet to think about Fall.
But you have found some really nice pieces with a Fall feel to them.

Our summer arrived late here in the NW so I'm not quite ready for fall even though it is my favorite time of the year! But, I will agree that I'm totally over all the watering. Sheesh! :-) I loved all of this great inspiration and it does get me thinking more about planning my fall decor!

I have been in a fall frame of mind all week despite the 114 degree temps here in the DFW area of TX. Maybe 'cause moi's birthday is at the end of September! Thanks for the preview, I'm crushing on that pillow with the acorns!

I am in the same boat as you! I am sick of this hot weather and my plants look rough.. I have been dreaming of wonderful fall.. still will be warm but better than upper 90's and 100's. My favorite time of year. Beautiful post, I really enjoyed it.

Anne, the weather here tonight sure feels like fall and I don't want it to be like that yet. We've only had 2 weeks of really hot and sunny weather. The rest have been nice or rainy but not spectacular! These images are pretty and I really love the dishes in the last photo. I love fall decorating because of the colours but I don't like the season that follows. I'm waiting on more hot steamy days to come. I hope!! Pamela

Great inspirations and yes, I am so ready for the arrival of Fall. I am not really an orange person, but when it's mixed with all the other Fall colors, I love it. Reds, yellows, browns and oranges are perfect for transitioning us to Winter.

I so agree with you. I love fall. I'm not really a decorator so my house doesn't change except for being neater at times than other times, but I do love the time of year.
