On Sutton Place.

Hello...I'm Ann. I'm a wife, mother, devoted daughter and I've been a DIY girl all my life. I believe that good design is collecting things you love and making them work for you. Mixing styles is not only interesting, it's fun.
I learned to sew at an early age and
opened my Etsy shop, Sutton Place Designs, in August of 2011. I offer handmade textile
furnishings for your home from mostly vintage fabrics.
This blog features my mix-it-up take on decorating, gardening, tried-and-true recipes and new collections in my Etsy shop. I'm honored
to share my ideas and inspirations with people like me.
I hope you find something you like...and I hope after your first visit you come back.
Welcome to my home...On Sutton Place.

Oh Ann, thank you so much for featuring my soaps and blog today! Your post is beautiful and my soaps look pretty good too! LOL. I hope you will enjoy them and thanks again so much for all your help. I learned alot this week.
Thanks for featuring Ginger, Ann! :D
Will go say hi to Ginger! I love that we are headed towards fall and cooler temps. And this weeks catcalogs in the mail had Halloween items already...

I know it sounds crazy... we are on day 43 of >100 degrees in a row. It was 97 at 10:04 PM when we left DFW to drive home Wednesday night... but I still think I am beginning to feel fall in the air. (Could just be all the dead and dying trees and plants!) Thank you for the introduction to Ginger! Her soaps look yummy! blessings ~ tanna
I really enjoyed "meeting" Ginger. Thanks for featuring her site. I'm on my way over to her blog.
Hugs,

Hi Ann,
What a sweetheart to send you a little gift for helping her out. That is just so nice.
I will go over and leave her a comment, I remember starting out. One blogger, Decorating 101 left me two comments one day, she felt so badly that she was the only one to comment on that one. So it is really nice of you to mention her.
Once you get back in the swing of things perhaps they will feel less out of control. And don't put TOO much on your plate at once and I don't mean food!
Hugs, Cindy
How nice of you, Ann! I know I almost lost it a few times in the beginning...and sometimes still.
:-) Sweet Gloria of Happy To Be was my saving grace. I'm just not technical at all.
I'll check out her blog and soaps. Thanks for sharing!

P.S. I pray daily for fall and cooler temps. :-)
I know what you mean, it's foggy in the mornings now, fall is surely in the air!
I'll stop by to visit Ginger's blog and it was so nice of her to send you those fantastic soaps!
Nice soap! And that is a loofa in the soap to make it scrubby. You will really enjoy it. Will check out Ginger's blog.
I shall do just that!

I love Ginger and her fun blog! She makes the prettiest bags, too! I have one and love it! Love this special feature on a sweet lady! ♥
I love that Tudor house in her header. I am always amazed at the talent I find on blogs. I'll go over to Ginger's blog while I have a few minutes.
