Grain Sack Love

I went all week without a post.
Not because I didn't have time...
but because I didn't have anything to post about.
I promised from the very beginning
that I would never waste your time with
a post that said nothing.

But that all changed this afternoon
when I got my mail.

Just look what came...

I won 3 Vintage European Grain Sacks
earlier in the week on eBay.
Here's #1.

Moving on to #2.

And my personal favorite...#3.

They are thick and in excellent condition.
I really didn't pay a fortune for them either.
Now that I've seen them in person,
I think I got a great deal.

I'm definitely in love.
Wishing you all a lovely weekend.
Enjoy the warm weather if you are in the Midwest.
Here's a peek at the latest items added to my Etsy Shop.

Oh my hearts is beating fast now that I see your new grain sacks! Today must've felt like Christmas! I love them. What are you planning on doing with them? Love the pillows that you're listing on Etsy too. I'm going to stop in and look around.

Those are great! Can't wait to see what you do with them. Maybe you'll work faster with your stuff than I have mine. My fabric is still sitting in the same place. But I've been sick all week. I adore your ruffled pillows and the toile pillow too!

You'll have fun with those sacks!
I have to take a blog break now and again when I run out of inspiration, or just get tired. The nice thing is that one bounces back when the time is right.

Ann your pillows are looking great on Etsy!!! Will you be making pillows out of your new grain sacks? Can't wait to see your creative mind at work. I a back to blogging after a wonderful visit from two blogging friends this past week, oh what fun we had, so I was gone from blog land also!!! Thanks for taking the time to give advice to new bloggers. Now I will be able to add a button and a few other things that I was wondering how to do. Maybe you can check it out at mrshinesclass.wordpress.com

I'm looking forward to following your blog. Thanks again for the advice. I'm going to put it to good use. Wish me luck!

So pretty.
