Here we are well into the Autumn season…
we’ve had beautiful, warm days
and chilly nights.
My kind of weather.
I have been waiting to add some fall touches
to my kitchen…I was looking and looking for white pumpkins.
Finally found them today.
I also went to Walmart
and bought myself a tripod.
I used it on these pics of my kitchen.
It was remarkably easier than holding the camera.
Quicker and much more comfortable.
I never felt quite right taking pictures.
Always a little unsure.
I’m still a little unsure,
but the tripod really helped.
Twine, some Crate and Barrel leaves
and my white pumpkin.
In addition to pumpkins, of course,
Indian corn to me says Autumn.
The pie pumpkins are just for show.
I’ve never used one to actually make a pie.
The canned stuff works fine in my opinion…
This run of countertop is often cluttered
with mail, dog leashes, cell phones, etc.
Amazing what a little cleaning up can do.
My Staub pot.
Makes the BEST soup.
Here’s the tripod that I got.
Under $30 at Walmart.
Sturdy yet very light.
this is another one of my eBay wins.
They are pretty ugly right now.
But just wait.
Soon they will look like Penny’s.
Aren’t they beautiful?
She shared how she transformed them.
More on that to come.
I know that Autumn is just the pre-game show for winter.
I’m trying to enjoy it while it’s here.
You do the same.
