Hey everyone...
My living room is definitely still a work in progress,
but my little blogging/watching TV corner is almost finished.
I have to be honest...I really like sitting in here.
I'm in charge of my very own TV and even get to control the remote.
I don't have to watch ESPN or Fox News anymore either.
There's one word for that...awesome!
This is the first thing you see from our entry.
I saw the picture below a while ago and it really stuck with me.
It's a little too formal for what I'm doing
but I love it. It's where I got the idea to hang the pictures
to the right of the chair. Still not sure my version is exactly right
but I'm getting there. Sort of.
I still have plans for the stools under the sofa table.
The little sketches were a gift from my daughter from
her summer abroad in Austria.
The frames are vintage treasures from my parents.
I'll show these up close and personal in another post.

This sofa table is easy to switch up so
you'll be seeing lots of different looks.
The pumpkin under the cloche is a PB candle
from a few years ago.
The slipcovers on the chair and ottoman
are from Comfort Works.

You are lucky to have a little getaway spot in the house like that. I know what you mean about having to watch sports or in my case the military channel. Yuck! As our kids get older and gone, maybe then I'll have a room to myself like that.

That looks like one cozy corner to relax in - and don't we all need that. It's hard fitting everything in that we have to do so a peaceful corner to rest and recharge is so important.
