More Word Art and Facebook
A few months ago I posted a little how-to on making your own word art. It was very fun and super simple.
Since I started a Facebook page for my blog, I have followers who I ordinarily wouldn't have. People who aren't going to open my blog...people who don't even know what a blog is. (I was one of those people less than a year ago.) Facebook, however, is a whole different story. Seems almost everyone is on Facebook.
So...to prove my point I want to show you these pictures. The crafty person behind these creations is one of my daughter's best friends. She follows my blog on Facebook and saw this project. She did these two pieces for her mom. I think they turned out great and I bet her mom was moved to tears. :o)
I have finally started to pay a little attention to my Facebook page. I now know how to post pins from Pinterest and how to showcase a new item from my Etsy shop. (The Etsy shop thing is one click. Not hard.)The one thing I don't know how to do is tag. As soon as I figure it out I will most likely start tagging you all!
I didn't think I was going to be back this week...I already wished you all a Happy Thanksgiving. But here I am so I'm going to tell you all again. Happy Thanksgiving...enjoy and don't eat too much!

Ann, I missed this when you showed it before so thanks for showing it again. It looks like a cute and fun project. It seems there is always something new to learn when I visit you. It's almost turkey day so have a very Happy Thanksgiving! --------Shannon
Very cute Ann! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Martina
Okay - I admit that I'm clueless! What is tagging on facebook? I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving day today!
Happy Thanksgiving and I hope your day is really, really wonderful.
I love the word art, it can be so meaningful, can't it.
Hugs, Cindy
Happy Thanksgiving Ann!
Our kids were here over the weekend, so we are home alone today, Christmas decorating!:-) I am taking a little break, with my feet up, at the moment.
My Facebook is pretty active. I have a page for the blog and another page under my name. I am busy with both but moreso with my page. Fun keeping up with people, hearing from people I haven't seen in years and my bloggy peeps.:-)
I have friends on Facebook that will look at my blog postings if I post a link, but they won't post on my blog ;) who knows?? I never created a page just for my blog on Facebook.
Happy Thanksgiving!!
I still don't facebook...shocker right! I don't know if I will be able to hold off much longer, as you say...seems like everyone is on facebook these days! Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving Ann!!!
Love the wordart and hope your Thanksgiving was great too. I have had no time for blogging either!! I am trying to keep up reading with most of my favorite buddies, but no time to post!! I hope to be back soon, but until then, love and hugs!!
Love the word art !! I'm sure her Mom will love them !! And, you've probably already figured it out by now ... in case you haven't, tagging is super easy on FB ... once you add a picture, look below the picture (lower right), it will say "tag" ... select it and then choose which friend or company you'd like to tag in the picture. When you are done, select the button that says "Done Tagging."
I saw your pillows on Savvy Southern Style, they were beautiful.
Cute! You are really getting to be a super tech! I decided not to do a fb page connected to my blog. I have a personal fb page and between that and blogging, I spend way too much time on the computer. But if I had an etsy shop I'd sure connect it all.
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
FB looks great! I try to add a new challenge there for myself each week.
Get some rest!
