When I clicked on that button that said
"Publish Blog" about a year ago,
I had no idea what I was getting into.
Through all the ups and downs of my first year,
the one thing that kept me going
was the encouragement and support of my readers.
(That is after I got over the shock that I actually had readers.)
Taking the time to write a nice comment may
not seem like a big deal.
But believe me it is.
Huge.

Love these two posts! I'm also a fan of blue, white and green.
I've never seen a blue and white combination that I didn't like, so I completely understand the attraction of the posts!
Of course, one could have all the pretty pictures and good ideas in the world and no one will come to view and comment if the writer doesn't let her personality, humour and kindness shine through - and that's the 'extra' that comes with your blog!
