came to own our dining room furniture.
Since it arrived on my door step
the chairs have gone through 3 transformations.
Here is the first look.
I covered the seats with this fabric
soon after we got the set.
I think the modern geometric pattern looks
good with the traditional chair.
Sort of jazzes it up a bit.
More to come on the rest of the update.

Love your seat cushion designs....nice colors.....I also like the pillow that is coordinating with it...Your are amazing, three changes already...I actually love all of the choices......
Can't wait to see my tablerunner and pillow that you are making for me...
Your chairs are beautiful Ann and I love "take 3"...beautiful fabric and the pillow is perfect!
Love, love , love the new material on the chairs. Goes with all about you! and your new decorating theme. Love it with the yellow & white pillows.
I love the chairs. The slipcovers were adorable but the modern fabric is so fun and clean.
Wow, you are good! I like traditional, so the first 2 are my faves, but they are all lovely. The chair itself has such nice lines.
Ann, the chairs look great covered in that pretty fabric. The chairs are very nice looking to begin with and that fabric adds to their charm. You did a nice job covering them. Looking forward to seeing the whole room.-- ----Shannon
I love take 3 - the unexpected geometric design really makes the chairs look fantastic. The design and colors are just perfect. Fabulous choice! Linda
Love your new room dining chair covering. Beautiful fabric.
Those are great looking chairs Ann, so you can't go wrong with any fabric. I love the last choice, the colors are fun too!
Your chairs look fabulous! All 3 takes are great because each is such a different look from the last. Your latest look seems to define your style perfectly though.
love. love. love that last one, ESPECIALLY with the bird fabric on the pillow!!! blessings ~ tanna
Beautiful changes!! I'm so happy to see that you did not paint the chairs too. I have a similar set of Duncan Phyfe style chairs that I refinished and reupholstered, but, I would have loved to have some with the lyre on the back. Love the slipcover idea too and think I will have to make some!!
wonderful update. Love the birdie pillow too!
I can't believe that you did 8 of these in about an hour. Wow, that is truly impressive. It definitely would have taken me 8 days to do 1, and not well, ha ha.
Thanks so much for linking up to our party, Ann.
Love the mix of modern with traditional! Can't wait to see the final reveal.
Your new graphic pattern looks awesome! It really does add a modern touch. Can't believe you did all of that in 2 hours! You're a whiz!
Love the fabric ...beautiful print! And the coordinating pillow is so cute! Job well done! :)
Have you seen Benjamin Moore's color of the year?? Judy at DIY by Design just blogged about it. I don't know the color on the walls in your dining room, but boy would the color of the year go well with your seat cushion colors!! :) Lovely.
Love the direction your going with the dining room, Ann. This fabric is wonderful!
What a lovely combination! That pillow looks so pretty with the fabric in the chair. Looking good!
Pretty fabric! Love, love the chairs!! Can't wait to see the finished room!
Blessings!!
It looks beautiful. Can't wait to see more of your dining room.
Ann,
I love that geometric print on your chair seats! And your pillow is the perfect compliment to the fabric! I can't wait to see all your changes. I'm trying to reorganize our office right now!
First, let me say that I love your header...it looks wonderful.
I really like the fabric you chose for the seat covers. I need to do that to my set as well in the kitchen...I will add it to my list! lol
Happy New Year Ann!

Hi Ann,
Oh, how beautiful these "new" dining room chairs are!! What a beautiful set of chairs, and they recover like a dream!!
I have been meaning to tell you...that I used to have the same wall paper but in red at our previous home! I loved that wallpaper yours in the yellow is so fresh & crisp. Your dining room is beautiful.
All the Best,
Christine
Oh how pretty! I like all three looks, but my favorite is the geometric pattern!
Can't wait to see the whole reveal :-)
i love this new geometric pattern. just awesome. great colors. (:
Your chairs are beautiful and they do look great with the modern geometric pattern. I would be so afraid to do that! So nice to see someone willing to step outside of the box, I guess I am too traditional. It's always fun to see what you have been up to. I will post my first project of the year tomorrow some time.
Hugs, cindy
So very pretty! I think they are gorgeous!
Ann I love the bright and cheerful fabric you chose, I also love how you have shown how a fabric will totally change the look and feel of a traditional chair, great job,
Kathysue
If I were in your house, I would be clapping and ooohhhing and ahhhing. It's harder to do that here, but I LOVE THESE CHAIRS. You have such a great eye for decorating. Always so happy to see your posts!

Hi Ann,
You sure did jazz up your chairs. I love the new fabrics you used!!!

I have the same dining room set as you! My parents found it at a flea market. When they had it restores, it was discovered to be Himalayan Mahagony worth $15,000!
When they passed away, it came to me. I love having this glorious piece
Love this last transformation, Ann. The mix of geometric prints is really a fun idea. I'm looking forward to your series. Love all your gorgeous pillows. thanks so much for joining in for VIF, xo
It's gorgeous! Quite the nice mix of colors and patterns. I need a course in pattern and color combos...I think I have a block!
