Sentiments from The Help

These words were spoken by Aibileen Clark
in the hit movie The Help.

Right before Christmas,
my friend Lisa asked me to make
a couple little tea towels embroidered
with these words.
They turned out pretty good so
I just listed a few in my Etsy Shop.

Just in time for Valentine’s Day I also have this…

And finally a few additions to The Linen Collection.
If you are in the mood to shop,
please stop by!

    beautiful, great movie too!

Perfect towels to remind us that each of are filled with those traits. I loved the book, but felt that the movie left out some of the important struggles of the maids' personal lives. Having lived in the South and growing up in the 50-60's, it definitely was an important story to tell.
