Well…the weather here in Ohio seems to be back to normal.
Even though I loved those wacky high temps,
I didn’t want to skip over spring.
A few changes on my front porch to welcome the warm weather.
New navy chevron pillow covers.
My Welcome/Bienvenue linen pillow covers stayed
and I brought back out the green cushions.
I covered a lampshade with the same flax linen
I used for the pillow covers.
The lantern was a birthday gift from my good friend, Nancy.
I think it’s perfect out here.
No porch photo shoot would be complete
without a picture of my cute assistant.
I am happy with this look…at least for now!
Newbie Party Reunion at Debbiedoo’s
P.S.
Here is the first post I ever linked to a party.
That party was Debbie’s Newbie party.
I didn’t know how to properly link in my post,
so there’s a URL address instead of text.
You know what they say…
You’ve come a long way baby!
Those of us who cut our blogging teeth at Debbie’s party
are grateful for her patience and encouragement.
She was always there with a fun comment,
no matter how bad the post.
Thanks, Debbie.
We love you.

It's perfect for spring! Do you take your pillow in every night? Just wondering how you keep them clean?
It looks wonderful Ann. I love the chevron pillows.
I am ready to work on our back porch. We are surprising Gabi with a trip to the lake, over her Spring break, for a couple of days. I will wait until we return to begin getting it ready.
Of course, while we are at the lake, I will work on the Spring deck. Hoping for a better trip than the last one, in Feb. Wow! what a return trip home.:-)

Your porch looks wonderful. I have been working, cleaning my screen porch. It get's so dirty over the winter I have mopped it 3 times and still dirty. I guess it will be worth it when I can finally use it. I have a party Sunday night, and hope we can set out there. Richard from My Old Historic House.

Cute geometric print, Ann. Like the contrast between the solid green and the navy. The porch is looking good. I hope to start work on our patio soon. I've got to finish the mulch project first. Did I mention the backyard will take about 15 yards?! LOL My arms are sore from the front yard. :-)

Your porch is gorgeous and your pillows, as always, are truly outstanding! I'm really digging the navy & green color combo these days too.
And your trusty assistant is very handsome and alert. My assistant, on the other hand, is snoring by my side …
