Yesterday in the afternoon terrible storms marched across Ohio. 70 – 90 mph winds and punishing rain. About 5 minutes into the storm we lost power. We still haven’t been restored. I’m thankful our house and property weren’t severely damaged. Many in our town were not as lucky.
I’m using my husband’s iPad to post this. I don’t know when I’ll be back. Hoping every one out there is safe and has a good weekend.

Oh, you have got to tell me how to post a blog on ipad. Oh, but you have word press. It is probably different. Sorry you had bad weather and no power. We are extremely hot. Triple digits and records. No rain in sight and we need it so badly. My yard is brown and crunchy.
Hope you get power soon!
Hot here too, 100 degrees. Trying to keep cool. Have a great weekend.
Glad you are okay. I saw footage of the damage in Findlay. My husband grew up in Toledo, so we are familiar with that part of Ohio.
How frightening. You’re in my prayers.
Ann, glad your ok and didn’t have to much damage! Stay safe!
Oh mercy me…so glad you were no harmed, nor your property damaged! Stay safe, and cool!!!
XO Kris
Glad you are okay! I just hate storms, very scary! I hope you get power soon.
Love your new layout, very nice! I am also very excited for you being able to be at home now. :) Hopefully someday, I can make that move. :)
Take care and be safe!
Jodi
I’m praying for your safety and that your power will be restored soon. It was 110 degrees here yesterday. More of the same today. Everything is drying up and the plants are shriveling.
Take care, Anne. I’m glad you’re okay. Some people weren’t so lucky. You, and everyone facing these terrible storms, fires, etc., are in my prayers.
We had that bad wind, too… our neighbors lost a huge oak, but we remain unscathed.
Oh dear! But, sometimes we get a ‘forced vacation’ even if it’s short! Don’t fret! Hope the power is back soon!
Blessings, Lorraine
Ann, I hope everyone is okay there- I am so sorry you have been hit by such awful weather- blessings- xo Diana
I’m glad to hear that everything is ok. Stay safe & take care…hope you have power back soon.
I am relieved to hear that you are safe! Sorry about your power. We had horrid storms too. Lots of downed trees, but we had power all the way through it!
Ann, I am glad you and your family are safe. We have had two nights of terrible storms including tornados in our area. Power was out about ten hours yesterday in 103 degree temperature. We went to a movie to get away from the hot house. Be safe!
I hope you all are ok. We are having the heat. We had some high winds, but not like you guys. That’s hurricane type winds.
Oh wow, glad you are okay, and I look forward to seeing you back.
Hi Anne! We had a terrible storm on Friday too and lost power for over 24 hours, so hard to get ready for work in the morning without power:) I’m glad you came out of it okay.
You mentioned in one post (about blogger vs wordpress ) to let you know if my post wasn’t on your blog list, so just a sweet reminder that I didn’t see mine:)
Have a great day and we will be in the 90′s again today!
Dearest Ann, not again. Bless you and and I am glad you are safe and sound. We had a bad storm last night and lost power. I lost the flashlights and that taught me a good lesson. I was very thankful for the rain. hugs, Olive
I’m so sorry Ann. When we left on vacation, we planned to spend the first night in West Virginia. At about 8:20 that night, we lost all power. That meant no air, no lights and no breakfast and carrying our bags from the 2nd floor in the morning where it was pitch black. It was not the best start to our vacation. We just missed another storm on the way back too. The town just nine miles from our hotel lost all power at about the same time at night as our first night. I made my husband go to a Tractor Supply nearby and buy us flashlights just in case. That first night the only light we had was my clip on light with my Kindle. Stay safe.
I’m glad to hear your alright. That must have been some storm.

Sounds like a Texas storm! I’m so glad you’re ok.
