Hello everyone…I’m back from a little R & R and feeling ready to face the world. A few days away and unplugged has done wonders for my outlook on everything. The Lake Erie shoreline did the trick…as always.
I wanted to share some linen finds that I stumbled upon in a little town called Marblehead. There’s a lighthouse there and just walking along the main street puts a smile on your face.
We found a little antique store and almost walked right by without stopping. But we popped in and I sort of knew right then that we had found something special. Of course I made a bee-line to the piles of linens.
Pillowcases and tablecloths…
and a lace trimmed bed sheet.
I also found an enamelware bucket but I’m saving that to share later. When we walked out the door I felt like I had won the lottery.
Well…maybe not the lottery…but I felt pretty good!
Then, when I arrived home there was a box waiting from my grain sack dealer.
Have you ever seen anything more beautiful? I can hardly wait to get to work. Watch for new grain sack items to be added to my Etsy shop soon. Hope you all had a lovely weekend. There’s just a tiny nip of fall in the air here in Northwest Ohio. Love it.
