I thought I would share one of the oldest recipes I have…and believe me there are some old ones. I have been making this recipe it seems like forever. It’s one of those quick-gratification recipes. Throw it together, pop it in the oven and in under 30 minutes you have hot, yummy, sweet bread.
I got seven mini loaves from these measurements. I made hefty ones but if you backed off just a bit you can get eight.
I have surprised myself lately. I am stalking a few food blogs and looking through my recipe box to find dishes to share with you. Oddly enough I am totally loving the photography part too.
I hope you find something along the way that you like. Nothing fancy…you can count on that.
Have a beautiful weekend. Celebrate Autumn.

That looks good! I have a favorite banana bread recipe that is very similar. Speaking of food blogs….I just posted a yummy sandwich on mine at http://www.fromharvesttotable.com . Come see it, if you have time.
Hugs,
Penny
Ann, I love banana bread. I should bake some soon.
looks delicious. i will keep this in my file. (:
I don’t like banana bread…weird since I like everything else banana, but my family would love this. Thanks for sharing
I always have an extra banana lying around that is getting a little too brown to eat. This bead looks scrumptious… and easy! All tied up in a bow… looks too good to eat!!!
Hope you will join me with your recipe at ON THE MENU MONDAY!
The banana bread looks yummy! Thanks for sharing the recipe…going to have make this when my stove gets back into the kitchen, which should be this weekend.
There’s just something about a banana bread…good, wholesome, banana bread. I’ve never thought of making it in small loaves like that! I actually think I would prefer it rather than one big bread.
About how many bananas make 1 cup ?
Banana bread! My favorite! Thanks for sharing your recipe!
Your photos are great,, Ann, and the bread looks delicious. Thank you for sharing.

I will try this next week and let you know how it tastes. It sounds fantastic! I must say that your photography is looking more and more professional. Your blog is looking fantastic, Ann!
Ann – That looks delicious. What is it about Fall that makes us all want to bake? Course, it’s been so hot in Oklahoma all summer that I haven’t had my oven on. I can almost smell it.

I made banana bread this week … I hadn’t made it in years. The house smelled so fallish and delicious.
Fondly,

Love banana bread, and I can’t wait to try your recipe! Old, just means tried and true …the best kind! :) Your photography is amazing too!
Hoping to order one of your beautiful pillows next week! I have my eye on one that would look great for Autumn! Love all your creations!
That looks so good! I’m a sucker for both banana and pumpkin bread!
Ann,
It looks delicious! It’s that time of year for baking and feathering the nest for fall. Sad to see summer go, but it’s nice enjoying the cooler days on my back porch and it’s nice having the windows open for fresh air. It was a scorcher this summer. I’m back to reading some of my favorite blogs and “who knows” I may get back to blogging again myself. Always love looking at your projects and your lovely blog.
Ann,
I love that I could click on the recipe and print it out easily. Great idea! I love sweet breads! Thanks for the easy recipe.
YUM! Made this last night and enjoying it this morning. I added goodness to the top (Brown sugar, oats, wheat germ, flax seed, walnuts and mixed it all together and splingled over the top. I gently pushed the topping into the bread befor baking)
