46 Reinvented Staircase Projects

Hometalk.com is an online community that features anything associated with home improvement…which explains why the DIY blogging community has jumped on the Hometalk bandwagon. My favorite thing about Hometalk is the fact that anyone can post there. You don’t have to be a blogger or a professional. All you need is a camera and an idea.

I wish I would have known about Hometalk when I began my entry project. Talk about inspiration.

Just for fun one day I started searching for staircase projects. I made a clipboard and started saving. I soon found out I wasn’t the only crazy person who has attempted this sort of reno!

If you would like to share your projects, but aren’t quite ready to start a blog, Hometalk is the place for you. It’s a great place to ask questions and get feedback from people who share your interests. They are adding new features all the time to make things easy and user-friendly. If you decide to sign up…please let me know and I will pop over to be your first follower!

What a great share! We agonized (ok, I did) over the front entrance when we did our addition. It is hwere everyone is introduced to our home and needed to be special.

    Ann,

What a great portfolio on Hometalk! Such a smart idea. I, too, wish I had all that inspiration to choose from when redoing my very own staircase (and thanks for including me as well!).

My hubby is sitting beside me and he liked the stairways. So I clicked over to your whole list and started scrolling through them all. Near the bottom he pointed to one and said ‘that one looks like ours’. I said, ‘it is!’ I thought it might be in your lineup since I had posted it on home talk and I recognized it right away. Fun to see it there and it was really fun to tell hubby it WAS ours!!!

This is a perfect timing. Need to work on the staircase. Planning to remove carpet and replace with wood.

I’m totally in the middle of this… I got about a third painted and decided I was un-hap-py. I think I know what I want to do, but this has been the most challenging project to figure out!

    Those are some amazing staircases!
