You all know I’m not much of a crafter. I’ve tried. I just don’t like Mod Podge or glitter.
When I saw this picture in freshstyle magazine my first thought was…maybe I could do this!
I thought about it for a long time.
I put it off.
I thought about it some more.
Then the other day I just decided to go for it.
You know what? It was very fun…and sort of relaxing.
I got to do things I don’t normally do.
They involved fringing burlap…
and printables!
I will totally admit that no glue was used in the project…but you could do it with glue if you don’t sew. I’ll be back tomorrow with a how-to on the sewing method.
I wish I had some little people in my life who could share this Advent calendar with me. Since I don’t, I’m giving it away. Leave me a comment if you’d like a chance to win. How fun! I love it! I wouldn’t consider myself a huge crafter, but every now and then I like to work on a project. Of course, it’s always fun working on crafts with the girls!

I did some crafting over the weekend for my event coming up and I found it rather relaxing too. Mine did include German glass glitter and lots of glue though!

I Love this!! We always had an advent calandar when i was a little girl. This one is so unique! I would love to have this in my home for this season. I would like my grandchildren to see how this works.I have been in a wheelchair for the last 9 onths with osteoarthritus so i havent been able to do many crafts. I love the advent calendar, but more than that I just wanted to leave a note that I am so impressed that you went ahead and did it. I don’t have little ones in my life right now either and so many times I see a fun craft and think “oh, I would have done this when the children were little”.
