Homespun Christmas Link Party ~ Doors and Wreaths

Welcome to our Homespun Christmas Link Party featuring Doors and Wreaths! I’m so happy you came…

I couldn’t think of a better theme for my night of the party. Of all the things I do to welcome people to my home, decorating the front door is my favorite. Here’s a reminder of what it looks like right now.

Some years I go all out with garland and lights on the railings and lamp post. This year I kept it simple, natural and fairly neutral. I had to throw in just a little pop of red.

I was able to get out the other night and snap some pics. Christmas is certainly the holiday where the magic happens at night.

Now…on to the party!

First…I want you all to know that I plan to pin every single link at least once, and twice if I have time. I may not comment, but rest assured I will be promoting your posts. I will also share random links on Facebook, Twitter and Google+. I tried to think of the best way to thank you for joining me and sharing your talent seemed to fit the bill. Pinterest is usually my top referrer. I am a pinner on several  group boards that reach thousands of people. Hopefully you will get some new followers and tons of traffic!

Here is a button to grab for your post. I would appreciate a link back with this button or a text link.

Link up the URL of your post and not your home page!

Visit your neighbors! Even if it’s just to pin or tweet…anything would be appreciated.

Now…let’s party!

Lovely night time picture. You’re quite right about the best of Christmas decorations being seen after dark. And it’s the most magical moment when you first switch on the Christmas tree lights! Every year, for me, that’s when the magic starts.

Your entry looks so pretty, Ann. I just haven’t done much decorating this year, Ann. We’ve just been too upset. All I put on our front door is a plain Fraser fir wreath with a simple lime green bow. That’s it.

I’ll enjoy looking at everyone else’s entries when I get the chance.

    xo,
    RJ
