I’m so excited to have Dawn from Creative Cain Cabin showcase her master bedroom here today. She is, without a doubt, one of the most generous (and nicest too) bloggers out there. She lives with her family in an honest-to-goodness log cabin. This is the real deal. Here she is!
Hi…I’m Dawn from Creative Cain Cabin. I live in a log home with my Hubby and 2 teenage sons. Our home is Eco-friendly and totally green. We built the place with our own hands and lots of hard work. I thought you might enjoy taking a tour of the Master Bedroom.
I seem to have an addiction to bedding and change the look often so stop in and see the whole Home Tour. Nothing says Farmhouse like window length yellow and white buffalo check curtains.
I used a dandelion print sham along with my “Antibes Green” dressing table as a night stand.
The ruffled bed skirt seems to go with whatever quilt I choose for this room, so that doesn’t change often.
And the chair is where our cat takes her naps.
The quilt is over 100 years old and has been in my family for years. It was made by an old family friend, back in the day where every scrap of material was horded and turned into a beautiful quilt.
The white blanket with the blue stripes is a hospital blanket.
I love the quality of them and even use them as tablecloths sometimes.
And nothing brightens up a bedroom like fresh sunflowers. Thank you, Ann for letting me show off my Master Bedroom today to your readers. It was an honor to be here.
Dawn’s style comes so easily because it’s naturally her. She is a whiz at finding vintage bargains and can transform a piece of trash into a priceless treasure. There is inspiration galore over at her blog. Definitely worth a visit!
If you want to pin any of Dawn’s gorgeous photos please click over to her blog first. Also, if you want one of the hospital blankets Dawn uses in her decor you can find them here. Thanks for stopping by…
