I was beginning to think this day would never come. For some reason, getting my shop re-stocked has taken FOREVER! Just in time for Mother’s Day…or any day really, I’ve added a nice assortment of new items. As always, many are one or two of a kind. Everything listed is sitting on my shelves and ready to ship.
I haven’t had any Aprons since Christmas but I have a few for purchase now.
I was able to find several pieces of Vintage Redwork that I repurposed into pillow covers. The stitching on redwork is usually a bit faded and sometimes in bad shape. A few of the new listings have the darkest red stitching I have ever seen. I was thrilled to find them. I backed all the redwork with red ticking so they are easily mixed or matched.
There are quite a few tea towels too. These make an inexpensive yet very thoughtful gift for the vintage fabric lover in your life…or yourself!
My favorite place to hang tea towels from my collection is on my oven handle. My family knows they are not for every day use but occasionally one gets grabbed in an emergency! All the tea towels in my shop can be tossed in the washer and dryer. Some vintage ones are a little more fragile so just be careful. I launder every piece of vintage fabric I buy before it’s repurposed or listed. If it doesn’t come out nicely, it doesn’t make it to my shop.
Back in stock also are lavender sachets. Not a huge selection…I hope to add more in the future.
There is a new section called Table Linens that has a few vintage pieces and some burlap.
