Hello! I’m just popping in today very quickly to share something that I have wanted to do for a couple of years. When I was a kid, my family made paper chains to count down just about everything. Summer vacation, Christmas, birthdays. We tacked them on my Mom’s bulletin board in our kitchen. My brothers and I had to take turns tearing off the circles…so when it was my day I was always excited.
You can print off this paper chain on any kind of paper. Cut the strips and tape the circles together. There is a space on each strip to write something that you and your family are grateful for…if you have kids or grandkids, divide them up. As you tear each one off, you will be reminded that life is short and to be thankful for all you have.
I like to take every opportunity I have to thank all of you…so I’d like to say it again. Thank you for being there for me. Thank you for always being kind and supportive. I am abundantly blessed and do not take it for granted.
I’ll be back on Sunday with my Christmas kick-off. I can’t wait to show you everything! See you then…
