The Christmas decorations are all down and the pops of red have disappeared from sight. Everything is peacefully neutral and a little bare. Even so, it’s always a bit of relief to have the holidays behind me. The last remnant still hanging around was the set of JOY printables that were in our entry. I gathered some pussy willows and flowers, found containers and came up with some new DIY flower watercolor wall art. I love the way this set turned out. They are definitely not perfect but I think that makes them look even more authentic. (I make the images by first taking a photo and then running it through the Waterlogue App.) The edges are a bit blurred and there is shading…which is totally by accident but I was thrilled anyway!
The winter months can be a challenge when it comes to your decor. It’s a good time to go mostly neutral with touches of your favorite colors. I’ve added just a little blue and yellow back into my living room which is about all the color I want right now. After the vibrant colors of the Fall and Christmas seasons I am ready for a break!
These printables are joining the Watercolor Flower Series. If you want to check out the others, just click the image below.
Speaking of neutral decor…I have some new designs in my Society6 shop. They are very simple so they should go with any decor style or color. For today only you can get free shipping by clicking HERE. Once you click through, all items should reflect the free shipping offer which expires at Midnight tonight PST. It’s usually hard for me to pick a favorite but this time it just might be the buffalo check. It took a lot of trial and error to get the checks spaced correctly but I finally got it. I’ve ordered one of those myself!
Have a perfectly lovely Sunday…
