A curated collection of 10 DIY Rustic Project Ideas. Includes rustic decor,
rustic crafts, rustic painting projects and more!
Welcome to our first All Things Creative event for 2017! Today we are featuring 10 DIY Rustic Project Ideas…one from each member of our team. We have decided to change our format this year and offer you something different. We thought you might be getting tired of the long list of thumbnails so we decided to refresh things a bit. We will still feature one theme per month, but for this year we will be sharing our best post that fits each monthly theme…so this means you will actually be getting the best of the best!
We are still brainstorming themes so if you have a suggestion or a request, please let us know in the comments. The wonderful thing about this group is that even though we are all in the DIY/Decor niche, we cover a large variety of subjects. We would really love to provide you with usable and valuable content.
Here is the group responsible for this month’s inspiration:

Thank you!
The olive bucket planters look beautiful and a wonderful suggestion for our front door. I will have to hunt those planters now…thanks for the idea! I’ve also seen so many projects using mason jars and now feel I have to try that one too and fit it with those little lights to give the allure of the fireflies at work!
Thanks Ann for the reply on the pork medallions. I kind of wondered because I save most of your recipes and have made so many of your delicious dishes. I sent you another email that you will just ignore. Once again thanks so much. Laura
loved the idea of the x- leg wooden bench. We live in a 100 yr old farm house and I have wanted an island. My husband and I thought we would would make the bench taller and rather than using using regular wood for the top we would use a type of wood that was the same as a chopping block. Love the rustic look of the bench and we are sure this idea will make an awesome island! Will let you know when the project is done!
Good morning Ann, could you please tell me where to find the recipe for ” pork medallions”? I love your site and follow you faithfully. Living in Alberta Canada we don’t have access to a lot of the things you have. I have found some of the things you use though. Keep up the wonderful work you do….I get excited when your emails come through. Thanks so much Ann
Make it a wonderful day …..Laura
Hi Laura! I’m sorry to disappoint you but I think Becky has me mixed up with another blogger. I don’t have a recipe for pork medallions…but it sounds wonderful!
Love this format! Thank you!
Love the new set-up1
I love the new format, it seems so refreshing! I’ve always admired your olive bucket planter, Ann. I decided to purchased two of them for myself. I bought them at Hobby Lobby at 50% off. Can’t wait to plant them! Thanks for sharing the great projects!
I like the new format – not so overwhelming. Great idea – thanks!
Hi Ann: We tried your pork medallions over the weekend. They were delicious!
What a fab new format. It really is much easier to see all the wonderful projects this way. I can’t wait to read them all. Thank you Ann! Sue
Hi Ann, I always enjoy your posts. This one not quite as much as usual, as it’s really YOU and YOUR style I love. But I’m willing to keep trying this new format. As for a suggestion, how about more wedding ideas? Favors, signs, decor, anything really. Thanks fir asking for our input.
I enjoy your blog it is so well rounded. Some blogs get boring showing the same room all the time. I appreciate your contents.
An olive bucket is on my list! Thanks for the inspiration!
