20 Minute Decorating: Christmas in July

None of us knows for sure what the Christmas season this year will be like. Will we be surrounded by family and friends? Or will we be experiencing another quarantine? With the future so uncertain, it’s hard to know how to plan. We definitely need to think positive, but we must also be realistic.

Christmas may seem far away, but with this year flying by so quickly, it will be here before we know it. Today, my 20 Minute Decorating crew is sharing Christmas in July. Easy ways to celebrate Christmas that take just 20 minutes or less. Take your time, and look at all the ideas. There is no rush…and when you see an idea that may work for your family, save it for later. Maybe you will use it, and maybe you won’t…but I believe it’s better for us to choose hope, and make some plans. So that’s what we’re doing today.

      Hi Cathy…no we are not related, but we are very good friends! We’ve known each other for years and do have similar styles. Her home is more open and lighter…and I agree, it’s beautiful!

  7. Australians often do Christmas in July for the simple reason it is our coldest month. In some parts it is jolly cold, the skies are grey and fireplaces lit and for those of us in the tropics what better time to roast a ham or turkey than winter.
