Beautiful and inspiring fall decor! Did you know you and your blog were mentioned in a country living article and made the list of bloggers who should ha e their own HGTV show? Check it out! http://www.countryliving.com/life/entertainment/g3645/bloggers-who-should-be-on-hgtv/
Hi Sandy! Yes I knew about the Country Living article. I was actually quite humbled to be included in that group. I did have to chuckle though because I am so NOT cut out to be a TV star! Thanks for stopping by. <3
Hi Ann! I have been following your blog for about a year now but have never posted…I’m usually just a silent observer who only just discovered this blogland about a year or so ago. I found your site through Jane at Cottage at the Crossroads awhile back (I’m also a SC resident). I have wanted to post to you a number of times recently…but just today saw the Country Living article and thought that I had to wish you a CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I have felt sorrow upon the loss of your mother and have felt your struggles regarding the article about Pinterest (though honestly I am way behind the times and do not have a Pinterest login…or even a Facebook account). I have wanted to write to you several times but after seeing the article today I am finally making the move :-)!! Just wanted to let you know that you touch so many people, even though you may not hear from them on a regular basis. You are so creative and talented! If you had a show on HGTV, I would definitely watch!!!! Keep doing what you do…you are great at it!
Thank you Hali! What a lovely comment…thank you so much for finally writing. I absolutely love Jane and am still hoping that someday we will actually meet each other. I was honored to be included in the Country Living article…the other bloggers are amazing. Thank you for your kindness and friendship…enjoy these last few days of summer. <3
I love the striped pillow in the first photo! Did you make that one, too? Thanks for the great fall tips.
Came over from Thrifty Decor Chick’s site and really enjoyed your perusing your website! Actually pinned quite a few recipes and signed up for your emails.
Thank you Nancy and welcome to On Sutton Place!
Ann I really enjoyed your warm lovely details, beautiful!
I so hate to put away my pillow cover with the bike on it,makes me smile everytime I see it.
Oh I know Margie! Tuck it away and in the spring it will be such a nice thing to pull out of hiding. <3
Like how each blogger linked to the next. Just the right amount of bloggers’ enough to enjoy a variation on a theme without overwhelm of dozens of blogs to look at. Thanks
Thank you Gail…I’ve always wondered which way readers like best. I’m so glad you left this comment and a special thank you for visiting all the blogs!
So many warm details to set the mood Ann. Love that shot of the blue and white plates with hydrangeas.
I always love the way you warm up your home for fall – I’m coming over for a piece of that bread!
love the ideas…not over the top….thanks
Beautiful decor – thanks for sharing.
Thank you for the beautiful fall inspiration! I’m really looking forward to the change of season.
Ann, you are full of amazing ideas! I love that you addressed those neutral lovers bringing in a touch of copper- that is totally me! ;) I will referring back to these in the coming months! xo
Oh my Ann, I’m so trying that applesauce bread!! That looks SO yummy. Fall is my favorite time to bake. :)
I was wondering where your velvet pumpkins came from.
Everything looks lovely.
Hi Laura…I got the velvet pumpkins last year at Hobby Lobby. I saw them just a week or so ago at Joann Fabric too. Mine don’t have the real stems…the stems are resin but they look realistic enough for me. Thanks for stopping by!
