Christmas: Blush & Gold Decor, Christmas Mantel Ideas, Christmas Tree Cheese Board, How to Make a Perfect Bow & French Country Dining Room Christmas Decor.

Even though I love classic, need-a-little-red, Christmas decor…I do like the new blush and gold trend going on right now. Today I am happy to be sharing ideas for decorating in these neutral and soft colors. Again, here on Home Style Saturdays, I can share inspiration totally different from my own style. There’s also a fun Christmas tree cheese board idea, a French Country dining room and a lovely mantel with eucalyptus. Enjoy!

I love ALL your beautiful ideas, I am using two of them for Christmas get-to-gethers.
    the cheese/grapes/celery dish…
    and the mantle.

I have a problem, I live in an older home, my mantle is painted black, I would love some ideas on other
colors, the wall is brick and also paneling.
    any suggestions?

    1. Ann Drake says:

Hello! Depending on what color the paneling is, you could always go the opposite of black and paint the mantel white or ivory. I painted our paneling, brick and mantel in our family room several years ago and it was the best thing I could have done. Brightened the room so much. I hope this helps!

I will definitely be trying that wreath bow! Mine always look lopsided and this just might be the cure! Thanks!

  5. Loving all the neutrals.I departed from the red and green this year and went neutral on the tree and the house decorations, but added a few pieces of red in decorating to keep the hubby happy ! I find the neutral pallet is very light and airy. Thanks for the calendar Ann.
