Hi everyone…I wanted to share one more cotton boll idea. The box of cotton I received from Cottage at the Crossroads had enough cotton in it for 2 really fun, and different for me, projects.
By the way…my pumpkins and kale are hanging in there. I’ve managed to keep the kale alive and the pumpkins haven’t started to rot yet!
All I did was take one of the left-over wreaths from my basement and used hot glue to attach the cotton. First I added the sunflowers from the door basket I made last month. There was random greenery already on the wreath which I just left there. Why re-invent the wheel? Next I laid the cotton on the wreath to make sure I would have enough.
These cotton boll projects have been a blast. They are different from anything else I have ever made. The cotton is organic, interesting, has tons of texture…and I bet people driving down my street wonder what the heck I have on my door!
Hope YOUR week is rolling right along…see you soon!
