DIY Flower Watercolor Wall Art Printables | Original printables ready for instant download. Can be used for cards, screensavers, phone wallpaper and more!
The Christmas decorations are all down and the pops of red have disappeared from sight. Everything is peacefully neutral and a little bare. Even so, it’s always a bit of relief to have the holidays behind me. The last remnant still hanging around was the set of JOY printables that were in our entry. I removed them and I gathered some pussy willows and flowers, found containers and came up with some new DIY flower watercolor wall art. I love the way this set turned out. They are definitely not perfect but I think that makes them look even more authentic. I didn’t actually paint these images, but I styled the arrangements, took the photographs, and digitally transformed them into watercolors. The edges are a bit blurred and there is shading…which is totally by accident but I was thrilled anyway!
The winter months can be a challenge when it comes to your decor. It’s a good time to go mostly neutral with touches of your favorite colors. I’ve added just a little blue and yellow back into my living room which is about all the color I want right now. After the vibrant colors of the Fall and Christmas seasons, I am ready for a break!
This artwork can be easily sized when you click to print. Just choose 5 x 7, 8 x 10, etc. One option which I love is to print as 5 x 7’s, use 11 x 14 frames with a mat that has a 5 x 7 opening. This option is shown in the photographs above. If you didn’t want to use a mat, you could print them as an 8.5 x 11 and they would fit nicely into an 8 x 10 frame. An 8.5 x 11 diy fall watercolor printable would also fit beautifully into an 11 x 14 frame with an 8.5 x 11 mat.

Ann, I really love your printables. I’m finally trying to make my home mine. I’ve been in it one year and have not put anything on the walls yet. You give me inspiration!!!
Hi Anne, I absolutely love your printables! I’m wondering what kind of paper is ideal to print them on — especially the watercolors. Thanks!
Hi Alyssa! I usually print the watercolors on textured card stock. Either white or ivory. It makes them look almost like the real thing. :)
Thanks for sharing. Your flowers inspired me a lot.
Best
Ann,
Would you mind sharing what kind of printer you use? I am getting ready to buy a new one, and I’d like to make sure whatever I purchase will handle your wonderful printables.
Thanks so much,
~Ann (also)
As I replaced my bathroom wreath and put up the little sea shore print instead, I noticed how faded it was. January being the month of self restraint, I wondered what I could put into the frame without spending any money. When I saw that little pot of lavender I printed it out! It looks perfect in my vintage yellow bathroom. Thanks for the printables and all the other realistic inspiration you provide!
You’re so smart, Ann. Your artwork is so pretty there! I love it on the soft blue wall.
Your watercolor prints are so pretty. Thank you for sharing.
These are great, Ann! I had no idea that there was an app for that! lol! That’s very cool! Thanks for the info and the prints:) Are you loving Old Man Winter yet? I so wish we could have had this for Christmas…
I love the Waterlogue App. As a horticulturist, the “art” I can create, make my containers look fabulous!
These watercolor prints are just gorgeous!!
Did you buy your frames and mat them yourself or were you able to find them as you have them displayed? And where did you find them? Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and ideas.
These are great prints, Ann….you’re going to put artists like me out of business!
Happy New Year!
Ann, thank you so much for sharing these beautiful water color prints! They are a much needed idea for the wintertime, especially after Christmas. I find myself finding different items with colors to brighten up walls, tables, etc. Yes, flowers are a wonderful option this time of year. I use to treat myself to a bouquet once a week & now is the time to begin that again. Thank you so much for your water color treats!!
Love, love, love your watercolor prints! Thanks for sharing these seasonally. And the new pillow covers, etc. are lovely too. Are they embroidered or are the messages printed on the fabric? I couldn’t tell from the descriptions. I really do love that buffalo check, too!
I love your blog, your creativity, your photos! You keep it simple, and I can certainly use simple in decorating.
Once the Christmas decorations are put away and the house is cleaned up, I make it a weekly treat to buy a bunch of flowers from the grocery, Our local grocery has bundles of carnations and alstroemeria 3 for $12, sometimes for $9.99 If I’m lucky, I can find ranunculus once in a while and they are worth the extra money. I love taking photographs of the flowers. I’m always relieved when the tulips show up at the grocery store, it’s such a treat knowing spring is indeed coming.
Thank you for your blog and your ideas! Keep them coming.
I can’t pick so will have to have them all! Beautiful!
You are so kind and generous with all of your ideas and shares. Your blog is a joy to visit! I live in an apartment while waiting for retirement (15 weeks to go!) and a move to our permanent home in Florida. These prints are just what I needed to add to my temporary decor but I will be bringing them with me to FL too!
I agree Ann that some grocery store flowers can be just what you need to perk up your decor in winter. We have been experiencing a mild winter here in Ontario Canada, but the cold and snow has started to fall this morning…thanks for sharing your beautiful flower prints!
Beautiful! Again, thank you for sharing with us. I love this addition to your series.
Thank you for the lovely printables, Ann. Your blog is a gift that I enjoy with my morning coffee – very grateful! Have a wonderful Sunday too!
I love them all but the bright yellow pot one is my favorite. Pinning!
Hi Ann!
I have read your blog for years and I have loved it from the very first time I read it. You have a way of drawing me into your beautiful home and outdoor space….almost like you personally invite us all to “sit and stay awhile”! Thank you!
Thank you so much for these. I have been considering a major update to a first level ‘powder room.’ Remember when we called them that? Taking me back. Anyway, there is one large wall that will need a spot of design, this might be just the right thing. Thank you for all your work and sharing. Love your blog.
Love your prints- makes you think that Spring isn’t too far away. The paint colour on your walls is fabulous. Happy New Year!
