I made this vanilla cake and it tasted amazing!
Almost like there was pudding inside. I dusted the top of a paper doily, I served directly from the frying pan.
I was just looking for an easy, not-too-sweet, moist cake to serve w/those gorgeous big strawberries that are currently in all the supermarkets for Valentine’s Day. Thanks, Ann! And the smaller portion size (as compared to a double layer recipe) means that I won’t throw half of it out, stale, at the end of the week.
Sitting here on a Saturday morning, having coffee with Ann and wishing I had a piece of this cake. Thank you for sharing the recipe.
