Home Style Saturdays 179: a French painted dresser, a beautiful berry chantilly cake, a home tour in Norway, a clubhouse makeover, how to update decor, and a bedroom transformation on a budget.
Welcome to today’s edition of Home Style Saturdays…and a lovely mix of home styling tips. Yesterday, when I was writing this post, the sun was shining so brightly through the window that I could actually feel spring coming our way. We still have to wait a while, but the days are getting longer, and with each nice day, spring feels closer.
I hope you have a few extra minutes so you can wander through the links below. Enjoy!

Thanks for the recipe, Ann! This cake looks so nice the way you have decorated it. It also looks so delicious with all those ingredients! We are having a dinner party here next week and this lovely cake is going to be our dessert!
Thanks for always sharing these fabulous recipes with us! Have a great weekend!
I have made your chantilly cake recipe a few times now! Soooo yummy and always a big hit with guests! One time I flavored the cake batter with cardamon (request from DIL)
…so good!
Thank you, Ann and other bloggers who include resources with their posts. Nothing is more frustrating than trying to reproduce a look and having to search hours for products that are similar. I look forward to On Sutton Place every Saturday!
A friend of mine loves Chantilly Cake & the recipes I have found were very involved. Yours will allow me to make it easily & add another great cake to my collection. Thank you for sharing.
I love your blog.
The cake looks beautiful! I am going to try and make one.
