Home Style Saturdays 2019

I can’t find the words to express my sorrow at what is happening in our nation right now. I have stayed silent on social media…my presence there is so small that no one has even noticed. It’s important to me that you all, my readers, know that even though I have chosen to pray and not post, I care very deeply about the need for change, and the need to free our world from racism and prejudice. In addition to that, we need to be kind, to show love and respect, and to somehow find a way to overcome. I have hope, and I have faith that God will continue to watch over us.

Now take a look at what we’re sharing today…my wish is that it brings you a few moments of peace.

  1. I can’t agree more with your thoughts about the issues currently facing our world. Thoughtful and sincere. I have read too many times from other social media people basically supporting the looting which is unfathomable to me. The loss of life and the destruction of property are both wrong. The loss of life doesn’t make it right to destroy someone’s livelihood.

  2. I appreciate your brief words and prayers. Prayer is what we need.

  3. I think you chose to do the best thing about what’s happening in our nation. You’re praying. So am I. Changing hearts is what can solve the problem and only God can do that.

  4. Ann,
I appreciated reading your acknowledgement to the current sadness in our country, words are difficult sometimes.
Mostly, I wanted you to know how much I enjoy my visits to your posts and the cheerful images you share. I rarely comment, which as a former blogger I realize is lame. But truly, I wanted to let you know you have a fan and I always enjoy your voice.

  5. Thank you for your brief, sensitive, and hopeful words. Absolutely the best blog comment I have read so far.
