Home Style Saturdays 299: simple and pretty summer living room decor, exploring the Coastal Grandmother decor trend, P. Allen Smith’s summer garden, yummy sour cream scones, and ideas for a casual summer gathering.

It was a good week, and it feels like summer! I hope you have all managed to get outside to enjoy a bit of fresh air and sunshine…and make some memories in your flip flops. This week’s edition of Home Style Saturdays has a little bit of summer, a little bit of decor, and a few other things you might find interesting. If you were busy this week and didn’t have a chance to read email, I shared the continuation of our kitchen journey and a delicious recipe for peach shortbread bars. 1. I clicked on the bottom of the email today and it went to your introduction to new members. But I see MILLIE!!! How adorable. I had to be sure, at first this wasn’t Kelly when she was a pup. If Kelly was a she. I think it was a he. I know what you went thru with that loss and it will easy but never fade. I can tell you. I have 2 cats. An old “lady” and a early “senior” man. They are my furr babies. I have enjoyed your website for several several years now and made some of your recipes at that! I would be lost without my Ann Drake!!!
