Welcome to the weekend…and Home Style Saturdays. Today there are some amazing links so I hope you have time to look around. Ready or not, I’m entering into full Fall mode! If you aren’t ready, hopefully these early posts will provide inspiration and ideas. If you are, I’m glad you are along for the ride. I may fall short of my goal to have most of my fall decor posts ready this month. I think I’ll be going into next month but I’ll get them out to you as quickly as possible.

Great links. All are helpful to me. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Hi Ann: Just printed the round bread recipe. Do you think it would work using whole wheat flour?
    Thanks/Becky

    1. Ann Drake says:

Hi Becky…I have not tried it with whole wheat flour but I had a reader who did. She said it was a flatter loaf of bread. Tasted OK but for some reason did not rise as well and was more dense. Hope this helps!

  3. Nice pics on this Saturdays post. Like the early Fall décor; very pretty. Thank you Ann. Have a good weekend (only half of it left), but enjoy!

  12. I get so excited knowing September is just around the corner. I love my 4 seasons, but fall is my favorite. Can’t wait to start decorating with leaves and pumpkins. The cool, crisp days. Time to hibernate with a good book, favorite afgan, and my pug on my lap.

  13. Love the picture of the old suitcases, typewriter, and old books!!!

    1. I have my mother’s suitcasfrom the 40’s and my dad’s leather briefcase from the 50’s sitting under my sofa table. Both are monogramme. I’ve received so many comments on them!
