Simple and Natural Christmas Porch Decor

Simple Christmas Porch Decor using Natural ElementsMy Christmas porch this year is very simple and I used all natural decor elements. I don’t have a fresh tree so I try to make up for it by using fresh pine on my porch. It lasts for weeks and if there are any dropped needles they are outside and much easier to deal with!

Christmas Front Porch with Natural Pine Garland and BurlapI added burlap bows to the wreath and porch garland. I haven’t hung garland on the porch for years and I had almost forgotten how much I like it. For the past few Christmas seasons I had pine garland around the front door. This was a nice change and it was actually easier than climbing a ladder to reach the top of the door.

Christmas Porch with DIY lightingI’m closing in on being finished with my decorating. I have just a few things left to do and hope to share a full Christmas tour by the end of the week. At least that’s the plan. See you soon with a recipe for the best chocolate cookies ever!

It looks beautiful Ann. I love the garland along the porch rail. And a little bit of snow sets it all off. Pam

Ann, I love your fresh garland on your railing, too! Now, I must ask if that is snow on your shrubbery! I always admire your ivy topiaries. I’m thinking about starting some in some urns that we have (that are quite empty right now!)

  15. Your porch is always so pretty, Ann! I love that it looks just as pretty in the Winter as it does in the Summer.

So pretty, Ann! It looks lovely both by day and with the lights at night. The evergreen garland is very pretty and you are right about the needles. We had snow overnight and it has been blowing with a mix of snow and ice pellets on and off all day.

  17. Looks fabulous Ann, I like the garland on the railing too, it is just the right touch.
