Simple and Natural Christmas Porch Decor
My Christmas porch this year is very simple and I used all natural decor elements. I don’t have a fresh tree so I try to make up for it by using fresh pine on my porch. It lasts for weeks and if there are any dropped needles they are outside and much easier to deal with!
I added burlap bows to the wreath and porch garland. I haven’t hung garland on the porch for years and I had almost forgotten how much I like it. For the past few Christmas seasons I had pine garland around the front door. This was a nice change and it was actually easier than climbing a ladder to reach the top of the door.
Repurposed shirt pillow covers soften the chairs along with green cushions that are usually on my back porch.
Here’s a picture of the door at night with the lights on the topiaries all lit up.
I’m closing in on being finished with my decorating. I have just a few things left to do and hope to share a full Christmas tour by the end of the week. At least that’s the plan. See you soon with a recipe for the best chocolate cookies ever!
