Hey everyone…I hope this finds you all well. Before we get to Home Style Saturdays, I want to share what I’ve been doing behind the scenes with the blog. Basically, I’m organizing the categories and trying to make my posts more Google-friendly. Older posts are being updated with better pictures and more text. Recipes are being updated with expanded instructions. After the updates, the posts and recipes are all republished. All this means is that what was old is new again. I’ll be sharing these updated posts with my email subscribers, so if you aren’t on the list, please join us! This is a huge job and will take many months…but I’m plugging away. I hope you enjoy these updated posts.

  3. Hi Ann: Have a thought regarding deer eating hostas or for pesty chipmunks and rabbits eating your spring flowers and digging up your bulbs. There is a product call Repels All which is all natural made from cayenne, garlic and a lot of other things. I buy it in concentrate form and put it in my 2 gallon sprayer. I must say it is not the best smelling stuff but I have found it works very well. I spray all bulbs prior to planting and then once they are in the ground and covered over, I spray the area around them, plus I spray in the spring as things come up, especially my oriental lilies as Peter Rabbit and his brothers and sisters especially love them. They do not bother anything and the chipmunks do not dig up the bulbs. The website if anyone is interested is called Spray & Grow so they can read about the product if interested. Thanks for all the useful information.

  4. Hi Ann, thanks for the post, have a wonderful weekend and hope you get some warm spring weather.
