Happy Sunday everyone! When I showed you how to make a No Sew Tea Towel Pillow Cover, I said that I would be listing some more vintage tea towels in my online shop just in case you felt inspired. It took me a whole week but here I am. I’ve got a nice selection (for me anyway) so maybe you will find something you like.
I also listed a few new table runners. I have two made from vintage grain sacks and two from vintage toweling. The grain sack table runners are made by actually picking out the stitches on the sides of the grain sacks. The stitches were done by hand and are very close together, not to mention very tiny. It takes about 4 hours to pick out just one grain sack. By the time I’m finished my eyes are usually dead tired.
Everything is laundered, pressed and ready to ship. I’ve still got a nice selection of aprons too. If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook you may have seen this picture a few weeks ago. I asked my daughter to be my apron model and she did a fabulous job. I’ve got aprons in red and blue ticking and flax linen.
Wherever you go, at least around here, everyone is talking about the crazy weather. One day it’s hot and the next it is so cold there are frost warnings. I planted a few herbs and did some clean up but that’s all I’ve done outside. I hope today I can get out there and actually accomplish something! I wish the same for you…
