4. THE ANSWER TO LIFE’S LITTLE QUESTIONS: How do you get the pit out of the cherry? Straighten one end of a paper clip and create a hook at the other. Insert the hook end into the cherry until you feel the pit. Twist the paper clip a bit and pull the cherry out. How to remove permanent marker from wood? Gently rub toothpaste into the marker stain. Then buff with a soft cloth. How do you keep a hamburger from falling apart? Hold it upside down. The bottom bun is thicker, so it works to hold the burger together.

8. CULINARY CORNER: 7-Up Cake: Preheat your oven to 350 °. In a mixer, add one 18-oz moist deluxe white cake mix, 1/3 cup lemon-lime soda, 1/3 cup vegetable oil, 4 eggs, and a cup of sour cream and beat on low for 2 minutes. Pour into a greased, 9×13 baking dish and bake for 30 minutes. Frost if desired
