Add toppings like blueberries, cinnamon sugar, streusel, poppyseed, or dried currants. Bake for 12-14 minutes. Makes 48 muffins. Eat hot with butter and maple syrup. Freezes well.

7. WHAT I’M READING: A little late to the party, I feel like I’m the last one to have read this, but I enjoyed Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng, an interesting study of complex familial relationships, moral dilemmas and snap judgments.

9. WHAT’S INSPIRING ME AROUND THE WEB: Just discovered and fell in love with this Instagram account. From these gorgeous dramatic entry doors, to these wonderfully styled living room bookshelves, to this awesome bright-as-can-be laundry room, to this amazing stairway. I love it all and so much more!

10. UP NEXT: Fall styling using vintage decor…

1.) This comforting creamy chicken tortellini soup is packed with tender chicken, cheese-filled tortellini, and fresh veggies in a rich, flavorful creamy broth…and it smells wonderful as it’s simmering on the stove!

2.) FAVORITE QUOTE: “Destroy the idea that you have to be constantly working or grinding in order to be successful. Embrace the concept that rest, recovery, and reflection are essential parts of the progress toward a successful and ultimately happy life.” ~Found HERE.

3.) I don’t have, and never will have, a walk-in pantry. Our home just isn’t big enough, and there’s no space that would work. But that doesn’t stop me from wishing I had one…and looking around for inspiration. This Instagram account is stunning, and her pantry is truly amazing. Or this home tour features a pantry with storage that goes to the ceiling!

4.) WHAT TO WATCH: I saw the trailer for this movie, and it looks good, and maybe sad, at the same time. This one looks like another must-see. The Chicago franchise shows start this week so make sure to tune in on Wednesday. Finally some new TV!

5.) LATEST FAVORITE FINDS:

6.) If you struggle to find cute shoes that fit, and that are comfortable, I may be able to help. I just got these black loafer mules, and I’m so happy with the way they feel. They are pricey, but when I put them on for the first time, I knew they were worth every cent. I’ve worn them a few times, and not only do they feel good, I feel good in them. Just something to think about. (I do have wide feet and a bunion issue, so I went up a half size.)

7.) LET’S BAKE SOME BREAD! These are two of my most popular bread recipes. First, this English Muffin Bread is super easy, and it makes such a hearty breakfast. Second, this Rosemary Buttermilk Bread is a savory treat that pairs perfectly with soups and salads.

8.) INSPIRATION: an absolutely stunning and stylish farmhouse, these helpful tips for hanging wallpaper, this rustic and charming Maine cabin, and this Jane Austen inspired bedroom.

9.) As we reach the end of September, I hope this finds you all well. I know that some of you are still experiencing stifling temps, and for many of you, fall seems a long time away. Hang in there…it’s coming.

P.S. I mentioned last week that I had ordered a bittersweet garland and would let you know how it looks. It’s beautiful and brambly, and unfortunately, no longer available. I will let you know next year if it comes back.

Thank you for previewing the new to come out movies. Can’t wait to see both. And, as always, thank you for taking the time to compile another great wish list. We are just returning from a short trip to the North Rim Grand Canyon and fall has definitely arrived!
