2.) Today’s Amazon feature is my Modern Farmhouse section. Take a look HERE.

3.) FAVORITE QUOTE: Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day, saying, “I will try again tomorrow.” ~Mary Anne Radmacher

4.) MORE VALENTINE’S DAY FINDS:

5.) INSPIRING PLACES: this calm, serene, and very grounded home in South London, and this beautiful and airy house on the coast of Cornwall.

6.) RECIPE OF THE WEEK: Some of us love Valentine’s Day, and some of us don’t. The lovers will enjoy this recipe, and even if you fall in the category of non-lovers, making this white chocolate bark recipe is an easy thing to do. It makes a great gift, and when you give it away, it will make you smile. I promise!

7.) HOMEMAKING FINDS:

8.) No matter how hard I tried, I could never assemble a collection of kitchen ideas like this one. There is so much inspiration, and I loved strolling through all the different styles and colors. Enjoy!

9.) I just watched a movie called White Bird, starring Helen Mirren and some other wonderful actors. Although at times difficult to watch, it was so good. It reminded me that, even if it helps just one person, telling our story is always worth it. Rent it for $5.99 on Amazon Prime.

10.) Here in Ohio we have sub-zero temps, so Millie and I are snuggled in. Wishing you all a wonderful week. XO

9. CULINARY CORNER: The Best Homemade Quick Biscuits… Make this part of the recipe ahead and keep in your freezer for up to 6 months. Pull it out when you want to make these easy biscuits: Grate a stick of frozen butter on the larges holes of a box grater. Put the butter in a bowl with 2 1/2 cups of self-rising flour and toss to cover the butter. Put the butter/flour mixture in a zip-type bag and freeze until needed. To make the biscuits: Preheat the oven to 425 °. Put the butter/flour mixture in a large bowl, making a well in the middle of it. Pour 1 cup of buttermilk into the well and stir to mix. Do not overmix. Turn the flaky doug out on a floured work surface and roll out to 3/4 inch thick. Fold into thirds and reroll. Repeat the fold and reroll 1/2 inch thick. Using a 2 to 2 1/2 inch round cutter that has been dipped into flour, cut out biscuits. Reroll scraps and cut more biscuits. Place very close together on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush with buttermilk and sprinkle with flake salt. Bake for 12-14 minutes until golden brown. Yum!

10. THE LAST WORD: If you have early spring fever: make an easy spring wreath for your front door so it will be ready to hang when you are. Read about 6 Things To Do For Spring Now. It’s 7 degrees outside, but I’m already getting ready for spring!

ANSWER TO #7: The most popular state bird is the cardinal. The fear of clowns is called coulrophobia. Now you know!
