8. WHAT I’M WATCHING: I just watched a delightful (but not new) Italian film, called A Five Star Life, about a hotel critic who spends much of her life in stunning 5-star hotels around the world. You do have to read subtitles (unless you’re fluent in Italian), but don’t miss the gorgeous scenery!

9. WHAT’S INSPIRING ME AROUND THE WEB: This is the embodiment of updated traditional mixed with modern vintage, here’s a stunning example of timeless rustic chic with Provençal panache, and this one is a bit more modern but with tons of warmth and lovely details.

1.) Making bakery-style pastries at home doesn’t have to be complicated. With just a handful of simple ingredients, you can create a warm, wonderful treat that looks and tastes impressive. This Cherry Cheese Danish recipe is perfect for breakfast, brunch, or whenever you want something sweet and homemade. They don’t have to be perfect…just buttery, golden, and absolutely delicious.
