Sour Cream Chocolate Bundt Cake

This Sour Cream Chocolate Bundt Cake Recipe is super easy and so moist that it doesn't even need frosting. Makes the perfect dessert for family gatherings!

  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups sour cream 16 oz.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 3/4 cups Sugar
  • 1 3/4 cups Flour
  • 3/4 cups cocoa
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a large bowl beat butter, sour cream, eggs, vanilla and sugar.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
  • Add flour mixture to butter/sour cream mixture.
  • When combined beat on medium speed for 3 minutes.
  • Pour into prepared bundt pan.
  • Bake 40 - 45 minutes until a knife inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
  • Cool slightly and turn out onto wire rack.
  • Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
