Easy Oven Baked Fuji Apple Chips
Crunchy, fat free and healthy snack for the whole family.
Preheat oven to 180 degrees F.
Wash and dry apples.
Remove the core from each apple.
Using a mandolin slicer, slice the apples 4 to 5 mm thick. (A little less than 1/4 inch.)
Lay apple slices on cooling racks.
Bake for 2 hours.
Turn all the slices and rotate the cooling racks.
Bake for 2 more hours until crisp.
As the apples cool, they will become more crunchy.
Store in an air-tight container.
I have a Maytag convection oven. All ovens vary so the cooking time may need to be adjusted.
