Easy Oven Baked Fuji Apple Chips

Crunchy, fat free and healthy snack for the whole family.

Ingredients

  • 5-6 Fuji apples

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees F.
  • Wash and dry apples.
  • Remove the core from each apple.
  • Using a mandolin slicer, slice the apples 4 to 5 mm thick. (A little less than 1/4 inch.)
  • Lay apple slices on cooling racks.
  • Bake for 2 hours.
  • Turn all the slices and rotate the cooling racks.
  • Bake for 2 more hours until crisp.
  • As the apples cool, they will become more crunchy.
  • Store in an air-tight container.

Notes

I have a Maytag convection oven. All ovens vary so the cooking time may need to be adjusted.
