Strawberry Crumble

Fresh strawberries under a crunchy topping make this Strawberry Crumble a delicious and quick family treat.

  • 1 lb. fresh strawberries cleaned and sliced
  • 1/3 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 Tablespoons cold butter diced
  • 2 Tablespoons quick oats
  • 1/3 cup sugar


  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Prepare a 9 in. pie plate with cooking spray.
  • Place cleaned and sliced strawberries in the dish.
  • Top with sliced almonds, 1/4 c. sugar and vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk flour and baking powder.
  • Add diced butter and mix together with your fingers.
  • (It goes quicker if you use both hands.)
  • Add oats and sugar. Whisk.
  • Pour topping on top of strawberries in pie plate.
  • Pat down with your fingers.
  • Bake for 30 minutes. Top should be golden and sides bubbling.
  • Cool at least 15 min. before serving.
  • Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.


If you aren't a fan of almonds it's totally fine to leave them out!
