Homemade Croutons with Garlic & Parsley

Delicious homemade croutons made with King's Hawaiian rolls, garlic, and parsley. The perfect touch for any salad or soup recipe.

  • 6 King's Hawaiian Rolls
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • fresh cracked pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil


  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Cover a large baking sheet with non-stick foil. Set aside.
  • Slice the Hawaiian rolls into 3/4 inch cubes.
  • Place in a large bowl and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and chopped parsley.
  • Combine the melted butter and olive oil in a small bowl.
  • Drizzle the butter/olive oil mixture over bread cubes.
  • Toss until all the cubes are well coated.
  • Place coated bread cubes on covered cookie sheet, spreading them out so they aren't touching.
  • Bake for 10 minutes. Shake the pan halfway through baking time.
  • Serve warm with soup or salad.
  • Store completely cooled croutons in an air tight container for up to 3 days.
