Click to download Pledge of Allegiance Free Printable
I’m putting together some simple DIY ideas to help make your July 4th and Labor Day holidays a bit easier…both on you and your wallet. I am still in the organizing phase but I do have one thing to share. First up is this Pledge of Allegiance free printable. I wanted to keep it simple so you can add it to your decor any way you want to. I think I’m going to frame it and place it on my entry table. If you are planning a picnic with a buffet table it would look great as part of the centerpiece. I’ll be back this week with some decor ideas and show you what I came up with.
Today is Flag Day 2014. If you have a flag, fly it proudly.
Here’s another patriotic printable…Home of the Brave.
Anne, this day and age is full of people tying to be cute and snarky. This is going to sound that way on text but I assure you its not, I’m just trying to point something out. I came across the ‘pledge’ on my pintrest page that was full of war photos of all modern wars. The big red star background is the emblem of the communist. It first caught my attention because it struck me as a propaganda peace so I followed to your site. There is no doubt in my mind about your intent and its a great peace. I’m neither offended or suggesting you change it(maybe a blue star, lol), just pointing it out. I’m a fellow artist and realize that somethings have meaning and some don’t mean what people want them to mean. I’m also starting to feel a little silly for spending this much time on it. So have a good day, and I hope you take post as it was intended.
Hello Troy,
Thank you for your comment. As I hope you know, this was intended as a way to celebrate our nation’s patriotic holidays and not as any sort of propaganda. I am a simple DIY blogger and don’t have an agenda!
Ann,
