Christmas 2015 Christmas Decor Home Tours

Christmas Decor Ideas | Home Tour

Christmas Decor Ideas | Home Tour | Simple and budget-friendly ways to decorate for Christmas. Inspiration for porches, entries and living spaces. Well…the last weekend before Christmas is almost over. I know you all are hustling and bustling to get everything finished. There have been years around here where I wasn’t sure it would all get done…but somehow it always does. At least the important things. In recent years I have simplified where I could without giving up family traditions. My Christmas decor is easy to put up and even easier to put away. I went with a table top tree a few years ago because I couldn’t get our big one up the basement stairs.  Today I’m sharing a Christmas Home Tour, but a mini, simplified version. I didn’t do much in my kitchen so I’m leaving that room out. I hope you see an idea or two you can use next year…or perhaps this year if you haven’t decorated yet. (There is still time!) I’ve listed sources at the end so take a look and I’ll see you there!

I’ll have all of my family here for a few days and I can hardly wait. I wish I could make time slow down because I know it will go by quickly. I hope to be back one more time before Christmas so I’ll see you then…

Just wanted to share with you ,that you have inspired me so much for Christmas . I loved your red pitichers on your stairs. I went to Home Goods. Because I was looking for something to go with the silver/ nickel bowl I purchased for the center piece. And they had some red emanel pieces. I fell in love with the coffee pot so I was able to purchase two ,and they are on my dinner table either side of my silver bowl.my I posted a photo on my Instagram plkmrose
    Thank you so much

  25. Patty says

Everything looks so beautiful and really looks a lot like Christmas. It is so warm and inviting and not at all over done. Everything you do is so tasteful and elegant.
I’m getting ready to bake your snickerdoodle bread and your eggnog bread, wish me luck, I’m not the best baker in the world, but these looked easy enough that even I could do it. Then I will bake my stand-by’s pecan cream cheese pie and a pumpkin pie. Then I am done until Christmas eve when I will start my Christmas dinner.
Kelly just looks so sweet, bet she is a good girl. My little guy knows something is going on, but of course he doesn’t know just what it is and he will be so excited and animated when the kids get here and so will we.

I just love the subtle touches that you use…the small wreath hanging on the lamp…and the way the ribbon is used to hold it in place. Love the mason jar filled just halfway with water so the berries are a focal point in the jar…and lastly, thanks for sharing your front porch formula! It has carried me through several seasons now.
