Meyer Lemon Centerpiece (20 Minute Decorating)
Make this fresh and beautiful Meyer lemon centerpiece with items found at the grocery store, and in way under 20 minutes!
Welcome to 20 Minute Decorating, where we share ideas for easy home decor that you can do in no time at all! Our normal crew has changed just a bit, and we are welcoming Diane Henkler, from In My Own Style. I have know Diane for many years, and we are so happy she is joining us. Today I’m sharing what might be the easiest centerpiece I’ve ever put together. I decided to use what I already had, and it turned out to be lovely.Â
A few days ago, I made a chicken recipe that called for Meyer lemons. Lemons are beautiful anyway, and I was able to get some Meyer lemons that were perfectly shaped, and their color was lovely. I also picked up a bunch of fern-like greenery, and other than a cake plate, the lemons were the only other thing I needed to make this Meyer lemon centerpiece.

This centerpiece idea can be used with any sort of plate, tray, or basket. Any type of greenery can be used as well…and you guessed it, any kind of fruit. Simply lay the greenery down, and pile up the fruit. I placed this centerpiece, layered on a fabric runner, on our dining room table. It would also be perfect for a kitchen island or counter top.

I know this little centerpiece is extremely simple…in fact, no tutorial is even needed. Right now, a complicated or time consuming project is the last thing anybody needs. For the next few weeks, I will definitely keep that in mind, and share ideas that won’t overwhelm us or wear us out. I want you to be able to come here for a breather, and a break.
