As a website owner, one of the things I am constantly working on is updating the old (and sometimes dated) content on my website. I have been adding new images and more information, sharing extra tips, and generally cleaning things up. Along the way, I have come up with a plan to categorize my most popular posts, and present them in an efficient and organized manner.

Enter the email series.

In the blogging world, this is not a new concept…but it’s new to me. And I have to say that I love it! One of the very first decor-based posts I ever wrote was about adding farmhouse style to your home…even if you don’t live in a farmhouse. I’ve taken that anchor post, added other related posts, and developed a new email series called 5 TIPS FOR MASTERING FARMHOUSE STYLE.

I have loved farmhouse style for as long as I can remember. Back in the 80’s, it was referred to as “country style.” Then came “updated country” or “sophisticated country.” After that, someone coined the phrase “farmhouse style” and it has stuck. The actual look has also changed and been refined, but the basics are the same. That’s what I’m sharing in this brand new email series…which is, by the way, absolutely free.

5 Tips for Mastering Farmhouse Style

The email series includes:

  • Tips for finding the best farmhouse pillows.
  • How to add farmhouse fabrics to your decor.
  • How decorating with your collections enhances farmhouse style.
  • Why you NEED grain sacks.
  • How a neutral decor color palette makes it all easier.

All of this content is on my website, but it’s spread around, and is very hard to find. This 5 part email series presents it in a way that makes sense, and that is super easy to follow. So how do you get this series?

You have such beautiful ideas! Your Farmhouse series sounds amazing.

  2. I can’t wait to read this free series! I was a huge fan of the country style, which is probably why I’m intrigued by farmhouse style. But I need ideas. I recently painted my bedroom, but haven’t hung much back on the walls because I can’t figure out what to do with some of my old country-style decorations that I still like. I finally realized that I can do what I want because it’s my house, but am open to updating them if I can figure out how. I’m also trying to choose a grey color for my living room (goodbye, pinky-beige!) and it’s proving very difficult. The next question is what to do with my decorations. So many decisions! I’m still a fan of oak, so I really have some problems, don’t I? LOL.
