HOW TO MAKE HOMEMADE COCOA MIX

  • Combine the ingredients: add the cocoa, sugar, and salt to a large mixing bowl.
  • Whisk until smooth: use a wire whisk to blend the mixture very well. Break up any small lumps so the mix dissolves easily when served.
  • Package in jars for gifting: use a funnel to spoon the mix into clean, dry mason jars. This recipe fills two 16-ounce jars, but you can use smaller sizes for individual gifts.
  • How to serve: stir 2 tablespoons of cocoa mix into 8 ounces of hot milk. Mix well with a spoon or handheld frother, then finish with marshmallows or chocolate chips.
