For a while now, I have tried to bring you two wreath ideas for each season. I’m sure there’s been a time or two when I’ve missed the mark…but it”s been easier lately because I’ve been making my daughter a new wreath for each season too. So I can share mine first and then hers when I get around to it! Her wreaths are usually a bit smaller and more subdued so it’s a different look too. When I saw this gray chevron ribbon at Hobby Lobby I knew it was perfect for her fall wreath.
When I saw the ribbon, I picked up a grapevine wreath and white pumpkins on a pick. I also got some leaves that were on picks too. The tiny red buds were stems in the floral section. I made the bow first and attached it to the wreath. Next I just stuck the pumpkin picks into the gravevine. Same with the leaf picks. The red buds came last. Including the time it took to attach the hanger, it was about 20 minutes from start to finish. Using the picks was really easy. No glue…no muss…no fuss.
I’ll be back on Thursday with a recipe for Pumpkin Snickerdoodle cookies…see you then!

Gorgeous bow, I need to go look up your bow tying technique. I have one I do for the ties on my dining room chairs but I can’t bet it to stick in my brain, I have to look up the instructions each time I wash the slipcovers (that would be anytime we have the nephews over for the night, at ages 2,5 & 7 my cream slipcovers are doomed). Love the chevron burlap too.
Ann, would you be willing to make and sell a ribbon? I have purchased other items from you from your other site. I am unable to make one, however, I would be very happy to purchase one. Thanks, Mary
Love the colors in this one. I think it’s my favorite so far.
I always like your creations because they are so simple in their beauty!
Ann, I don’t care what wreath you create, it is always a winner! You have such a way of combining materials to get the “just right” look! Pinning!
Hello Ann,
We are going to my daughter and son in laws for dinner on Saturday. My daughter said, “Mom please bring a fun fall dessert,” what do you suggest?
Thank you, love your blog!
Mary Ann
What about the pumpkin parfaits? They are very fun and easy too. Here’s the link:

Good luck!
Love it!
White pumpkins on a pick? I haven’t seen them before. Love the Fall wreath. Add a Halloween pick and a Thanksgiving pick for the upcoming Holidays. Very versatile!
Very nice! A little subdued for my taste, but I can see it for some of my friends and family. Thank you!
I know Annie! This is much more my daughter than me but I like doing different things sometimes…thanks for taking the time to leave a comment!
This is such a pretty wreath, love the bow

Hi Ann, this wreath turned out so elegant. The white pumpkins and the chevron give it a modern look. I pinned it, thanks for sharing.

You are welcome Constance…thank you for following along!
This wreath is so nice. I love the chevron ribbon!
Ann, I have a grapevine wreath hanging patiently for a makeover in our garage. I love your wreath with its chevron bow, fall leaves, and those cute white mini pumpkins. Materials listed to purchase at Hobby Lobby this Thursday. I’m making it for my daughter’s house. The grandchildren and I plan to do fall decorating in their home and surprise their parents this weekend. Wish us luck!
Pretty! I think I can even do this one.
