Grow edible flowers for salads, savory dishes, drinks, and dessert recipes. This Garden Therapy Kit from GardenTrends makes it so easy!
I’m happy to be here today to talk to you about some wonderful seed starting kits designed by my friend, Stephanie Rose, who created the gardening blog Garden Therapy. I’ve also got a fun giveaway so make sure to stick around to the end for the details on that.
When Stephanie asked me to try out one of her kits, I was a little hesitant because I had never started seeds before. Turns out that I didn’t have anything to worry about because these kits are so easy. Anyone can do this! Whether you are a beginner like me, or a seasoned seed starter, you will love this Edible Flowers Kit. With each kit, and there are several to choose from, GardenTrends includes a wonderful information brochure, the seed packets, and a Jiffy Greenhouse Kit (or seed starting tray.)
Grow Edible Flowers!
I did get a little bit of a late start so I skipped starting the seeds indoors and direct sowed them into small pots. I put them outside in a protected area of my deck so they won’t get too much wind or rain. If all goes well, I will have colorful nasturtiums, golden sweet peas, calendula, and zucchini squash before summer ends. My pots are small, so at some point I may have to move the plants to bigger containers.
