Easter Tablescape Inspiration & Ideas.
Easy and affordable spring & Easter
table setting ideas.
Welcome family and friends with style!
Today I’m sharing the very last look at my dining room before the new board and batten gets installed. (If you missed my makeover post, you can catch up HERE.) I’m also joining my Styled & Set crew and we’re sharing Easter table setting ideas. If you are coming over from The Wood Grain Cottage, welcome! I think Shayna is lovely, with a style that’s impeccably warm and inviting. Plus she’s pretty darn sweet. So if you’re visiting from her blog, I am so glad you’re here.
I love the way this tablescape turned out. It’s cheerful and casual with just a pop of blue. If you aren’t a lover of blue, you can achieve the same look with your favorite color. Keep everything neutral and add just a few touches of whatever color you love best.
I added blue with a striped table runner and vintage blue transferware salad plates. There is also a bit of blue on the flatware handles and the eggs in the bird’s nests. Other than that, it’s all neutral. This lets your featured color really stand out so it’s one of the first things that catches your eye.
There’s also a little dose of color from the jelly bean favors. I think they add a cute, personal touch and who doesn’t like jelly beans? Plus, it’s not like you’re providing a whole bag of jelly beans to each guest. The portion is completely justifiable, especially on Easter!
For the centerpiece, I used two copper can vases and one ironstone pitcher. The flowers are all white but there are several different textures. I added a few bird’s nests plus a candle and gathered them together with the flowers on a tray. It took hardly any time at all to put together. I sort of hate to admit this…but I took a shortcut with the copper cans. I had every intention of spray painting soup cans, but I ran out of time. I took the easy way out and bought them. They weren’t too expensive and it was so much easier! If you like the look, you could definitely make them yourself. Just make sure to allow a little extra time. Ha!

I wanted to show you these lovely linen pillow covers (pictured above) that I got on Amazon in my friend Debbiedoo’s store. They are the most reasonably priced, pure linen pillow covers I have ever found. They are a tiny bit darker than the picture shows and the prettiest neutral shade that goes with everything. Of course I checked them out on the inside too. They are made well and have an invisible zipper…so if you’ve always wanted linen pillow covers but thought they were too pricey, here’s your chance!
A few days before I took the pictures for this post, I hit the jackpot in the flower department at Kroger. They must have just gotten a huge shipment in because there was a beautiful selection. Aren’t the hydrangeas amazing? I know I went a little overboard but I couldn’t help myself.
These little favors were so easy to put together. I picked up jelly beans at the grocery…and ordered the bags & berry baskets online. (Sources at the end.) I shared the tags as napkin rings HERE…so just hop over there and print some off if you haven’t already.
That’s it for me. For more Easter tablescape inspiration, it’s time to send you over to Ella Claire Inspired. I know Kristen will have something wonderful waiting for you.
